Just because the episode's over, doesn't mean the conversation has to end. I'm releasing two bonus interviews I did for for Episode #17: The (Not Always) Love Game. This is the second interview. You can find the first interview here.

I sat down for a telephone interview with Valerie J. Lewis Coleman, relationship expert, author, and publisher.

During this interview, we discussed Valerie's book "The Forbidden Secrets of the Goody Box."

We also discussed Valerie's dating advice for single hetero ladies, including factors that lead to terrible relationships decisions, when you know you've met the "one", best way to your partner's heart, giving away the "goody box", how to become a "man whisperer", and more. Take a listen below:

You can find out more about Valerie, her book, and advice at valeriejlcoleman.com.

I conducted a Skype call interview with Mr. Locario, "the bad boy of the dating game." Mr. Locario is a dating and relationship coach, and the author of several books, including the critically acclaimed "How to Have Sex with 2 Women a Day."

(Don't worry ladies - as you'll hear in the interview, Mr. Locario also thinks a woman should be able to have sex with as many partners as she wants without censure and shame, too.)

During the interview, we discussed some of his teachings and books, as well as some topics from TVP Episode #17: The (Not Always) Love Game, including: open relationships, long distance dating, and infidelity. Mr. Locario offered some really great insight; take a listen below:

During EP#17, I recommended the Scarlet Letter and the G'Spot.

Whether you're celebrating Valentine's Day with a special someone, a group of special someones (ie: a group of girl friends, a harem of girlfriends, etc.), or on your own, you can indulge in sexy, smart cocktails.

Scarlet Letter (according to about.com)
  • 1 3/4 ounces No. 3 Gin
  • 1 ounce cranberry puree
  • 3/4 ounce honey syrup
  • 1 1/2 ounces sparkling wine
Note: The Scarlet Letter requires some prep ahead of time. Follow the about.com instructions, and you'll come out with an incredibly delicious drink.

G'Spot (according to about.com)
  • 1 1/2 oz G'Vine Floraison Gin
  • 1/2 oz Chambord or other black raspberry liqueur
  • 1/4 oz Simple Syrup
  • 1/4 oz fresh lime juice
  • 3/4 oz lemon juice
...because it's always more fun when you've found and diddled the g-spot.

This episode was packed with information, opinions, and thoughts on non-traditional relationships. It really got me thinking and so with a little bit of internet surfing I came across the site www.morethantwo.com. They have a great glossary of terms for people who aren't exactly sure about all the phrases and terms being thrown out there.

The following are five terms that I thought were interesting, fun, and fun to say:

vi.sualize.us
#5 Boston Marriage: This is an archaic term which was used primarily in the 19th century to describe a household of 2 unmarried women who were financially and otherwise independent. Today it's generally presumed that these were lesbian relationships. It's the fact that this term is so antiquated that caught my eye - plus any term with the word "Boston," in it will always catch my eye.

#4 Closed Swinging: A practice in which a group of swingers will exchange partners and then have sex separately. Usually in separate rooms. Alright, listen, I'm naïve when it comes to these kind of things so the fact that there's so many different shades of "swinging is something that has fascinated me.

#3 Frubble: A pleasant emotion of happiness arising from seeing one's partner with another partner. Face it, frubble is just a fun word to say.

#2 Key Party: A specific type of play party usually attended by couples. The male deposits his keys in a container when he arrives and as the guests leave the female draws a set of keys at random from the container and whoever the key belongs to is whoever goes home together. That sounds like a very interesting party.

#1 Puppy-Pile-Poly: This is a colloquial for polyamorous relationships in which all people involved are to some degree physically and/or romantically involved with one another, with the implication that the people involved may share sex and/or sleeping space (hence, "all in one puppy pile"). It's number one because alliteration is fun.

Since Valentine's Day is coming up, I sat down to do a Skype call interview with Suzanne Casamento, founder of the Fantasy Dating Game.

www.fantasydatinggame.com
The Fantasy Dating Game is not virtual dating nor is it an online dating website; it's a tool to make friends with other singles and motivate each other to get off the couch, put down the phone, and talk to more people you encounter as you go about your day.

If you're on your phone, zoning out to tunes on your iPod, or in any other way glued to the glowing screen of your gadgets, you're missing out on who's around you. And that's part of what inspired Suzanne to create Fantasy Dating; Fantasy Dating is a dare, of sorts, to get you to be more observant and interact with people around you.

During the interview, Suzanne and I discussed the rules of the game, who can play, where and how to find more dates, and more. It was a really awesome interview, and you can listen to it here:

Speaking with Suzanne and learning about her game has inspired me to issue my own dare to single readers/listeners:

I'm daring you to talk to someone new every day this week.

That hottie in the elevator? Why not say "hi" and do a little flirting? If he or she is single, you might even walk away with his or her digits and a date.

Or that cutie in your yoga class? Introduce yourself and ask him or her out for lunch after class. Might not lead to romance, but hey you may make a new friend.

And so on. Just unplug, be observant of your surroundings, and put yourself out there. You never know where you'll find love, friendship, or both.

You can find more about the Fantasy Dating Game at www.fantasydatinggame.com. You can also follow them on Twitter @fantasydaters.

And if you're curious about the promo video Suzanne and I discussed during the interview, you can watch it below:
