Everyone has moments where she/he/it doesn't feel like they're "enough." The media, and our collective society, is obsessed with the idea of perfection, whether it's pushing unrealistic standards for physical attractiveness to dictating what hobbies/interests are most desirable, and so on.
Here at The Vodka Press, we're all about shattering those notions and encouraging people to question the norms and appreciate who they are inside and out - that's why we decided to tackle these issues (for both women and men) in
EP #23: The Attraction of Beautification and Beardification.
As a followup, Karly Kingsley and Zoe Grimm chatted with author Jennifer Tress, via Skype, to discuss her book
You're Not Pretty Enough as well as societal attitudes towards what is and isn't considered beautiful, acceptable, and ideal.
