One for The Vodka Press fans

TVP's "anniversary" is coming up, and to celebrate we're working on improvements and new additions to both The Vodka Press blog and podcast. Some of these changes are extensive, and therefore will require more of a time commitment from our team members. As such, we're planning a vacation for TVP's podcast. 

And by vacation, we really mean just a vacation. 3 weeks to be exact, starting on next Friday the 29th.

During our vacation, we thought it'd be fun to rerelease your 3 favorite episodes. That's right, we want you folks to sound off and let us know what your all-time favorite TVP episodes are - please do so in the comments section below.

But don't worry, we'll still be regularly posting new content here on TVP's blog, including all new drink recommendations on Fridays to get us all sauced. Each vacation EP will also feature a special intro / update on the cool changes going on behind-the-scenes here at TVP.

Drink Recipes for Episode #30: Vodka Press and Vodka Press 2.0

Since we talked about podcasting this week, I figured it was time to recommend our namesake cocktail: the Vodka Press. It's a good drink on its own, but I decided to play around and give it a major upgrade. That's how the frozen Vodka Press 2.0 was born. Both recipes can be found below, enjoy!

Vodka Press (according to vodkaonly.com)

• 1.5 oz Vodka
• 4 oz Soda water or tonic
• 4 oz Lemon-lime soda
• Garnish with lime wedge

Vodka Press 2.0

• 2 oz Vodka
• 0.5 oz DeKuyper® Pucker® Berry Fusion Schnapps Liqueur
• 3 oz Frozen limeade concentrate
• Squirt of fresh lemon juice
• 1 cup Ice
• Optional: Garnish with lime wedge

Like with any frozen drink, combine the ingredients in a blender and blend until it's the consistency you like. Then pour, garnish (if you wish to do so), and drink up.
