Q: #netneutrality is a big topic on twitter, and I think it'd be a cool one for you to get into on the show. Maybe for an episode on free media or freedom of speech? - Candace M.
A: It is indeed a hot topic, one I've been following closely. There are many great articles floating around covering #netneutrality (like this one and this one), so it'd be easy enough to plan discussions on it. Thank you for the recommendation, Candace!
Q: I think I used to date one of you - anonymous
A: Haha, was it me?
Q: Thank you for the college episoed! From all us college TVP fans :) - Kelly C.
A: Aww, thank you. Glad you enjoyed it.
Q: megan hussey brought up male strippers during her interview on the erotica episode. you should do an episode on male strippers and have some on the show! for us ladies! - anonymous
A: A whole episode on male strippers might be hard (heh) but I think we could do a segment on them during a future episode and squeeze in an interview. Kit, Karly, and I shall have to brainstorm (and make it rain men at TVP HQ).

A: Absolutely.
Q: Zoe your adult fairy tales post got me thinking. What do you think of popular fairy tales and how they depict women? - Abby
A: Oh you'll find out during an episode of The Vodka Press podcast. *SPOILER* We're actually planning a future episode on female heroes & villains depicted in literature, film, and other media. Not sure yet when we'll release the episode, but it will be happening this season.
Q: i liked the frozen drink you did for the podcasting episode, can you do more? - Kevin
A: Absolutely. *SPOILER* I have frozen drinks planned for EP#33.
Q: I know you’re all busy and all and said you didn’t want to be bogged down with social media, but would you girls consider being on pinterest? I bet you’d have the coolest board, and it’d be another way we could connect with you :-) - Samantha O.
A: I like Pinterest, and I've been toying around with the idea of getting us (active) on there. (We have a Pinterest account, we just don't utilize it.) Now that I know people would want to connect with us there, I will get on bringing The Vodka Press board(s) to life. If you have any suggestions for boards, let me know.
Q: Forget if someone else already asked this but can you do another tv episode? - jim
A: Yes.
Q: is another geek epi coming up soon? please - bellzi1992
A: Yes!
Q: please please please! do another music episode! - Jenna
A: YES! (*throws back head in orgasmic bliss*)

A: I'm not opposed to tattoos on others or even getting one myself, I just haven't been inspired to get one (yet). Piercing's another story - I love being pierced. Depending on where/what you get pierced, some piercings can certainly require a lot of aftercare. And yes, some spots on the body hurt more than others but the pain and discomfort are temporary; afterwards they can be downright sexy. Piercings are just a little something extra to play with (on your lover)...
Q: I can't believe the vodka press hasn't done an episode on vodka yet. - Rebecca
A: I know, right?! *SPOILER* We do have a vodka episode in the works.
Q: question for all of you, whats the worst film youve seen lately? - jeff b.
A: Crazy, Stupid, Love. It's as stupid as the title suggests.
Q: Are any of you related? Zoe and Karly sound like they are. - anonymous
A: Nope. (How do Karly and I sound like we're related? Similar accents, maybe?)
Q: whats your fave hangover cure remedy? - Pamela G.
A: Kit and Karly give some good ones in their respective blog posts.
Q: What’s on the next episode? - Doug
A: Check out this week's teaser.
An EP on free speech is a good idea, you could take the conversation a lot of different directions.
ReplyDeleteUnrelated, but what do you think of #notallmen?
I think an episode on free speech would be fun.
DeleteOh, #notallmen is a can of worms I'm not opening, least not yet... (*SPOILER*) we'll get into it on a future episode of The Vodka Press podcast.
you need to have a webshow like lucky bastards. have you seen that show? http://tv.esquire.com/shows/lucky-bastards
ReplyDeleteare you girls still thinking of doing a webshow? seriously everyone would watch it.
and i say it any time i comment, zoe please do more flirtinis!
Hmm, what would TVP call their show then? Fortunate Foxes or Boozed-up Babes? I think TVP could produce something far better and original than that sexist drivel from Esquire.
DeleteI've never seen that show to comment on it but I gotta say, a Vodka Press webshow would be so cool. Zoe, please do one.
DeleteAnd almost forgot: Zoe Grimm, you owe me a dance. Next time I spot you in a bar, I'm collecting on that. :-D
DeleteNot Kit Bangles' Tyler! Flirtinis shall make a comeback.
DeleteKit, Karly, and I are working to improve the podcast and the blog right now, so the webshow idea has taken a backburner - but it's not dead, I promise! We'll get around to it, someday.
And Alex P., you're so cheeky.
DeleteOoooooh, I can't wait for the female heroes and villains episode! :-)
ReplyDeleteCan we suggest heroes and villains? Or maybe suggest movies for you girls to review?
I'm excited for it, too. :)
DeleteYou most certainly can recommend topics and/or films for the episode.
The Vodka and Female Heroes & Villains episodes are great ideas, looking forward to whenever those come out.
ReplyDeleteCan you talk about objectification in a future episode, but like the sex play kind? I think an episode on Fetishes & Kinks would be fun for you to do and fun for us fans to listen to.
And I have a drink request, of sorts. Zoe, you mentioned a few times that you make bourbon ice cream for Mr. Grimm. Would you be willing to share that and any other boozy ice cream recipes you know? Those sound so delicious and they'd be perfect for the warmer weather.
We've tossed around the idea of doing a fetish & kink episode, so now that I know fans want it, it'll happen. If we don't get into sexual objectification on the show, I will write a post on it.
DeleteBoozy ice cream - yes, I can share recipes for an episode. Maybe the kink one? Hmm...
DeleteAgree with Liz and AmyBeth above, female heroes & villains sounds like such a good episode. And a fetish / kink episode would be fun, now that I think about it.
ReplyDeleteI also think an episode on scandals would be good. Not the show, I mean like actual controversies and how the media sensationalizes them. The media blows a lot of things out of proportion.
Controversies and the media - that could be fun. We'll marinate over it and brainstorm.
DeleteOkay, I loved the college episode but I REALLY love this adult sex ed one. What great interviews, and what great info shared. I had no idea about sex ed month before, can't wait to follow it on twitter. Thank you so much TVP for doing this episode! :)
ReplyDeleteGlad you liked it. :)
DeleteNew to your show and blog, so far I'm loving it! But I was kinda disappointed that you didn't discuss bras, of all things!, during The Breast Episode Yet. Boobs, bras, the two go hand in hand (or tit to tit). ;) So maybe you girls can do another boob episode? Or better yet, what about an episode on undergarments? Talk about sexy lingerie, the crazy new tech bras out there (like the one with pockets for your iPod and phone), boxers vs briefs for the guys, and so forth.
ReplyDeleteJust a suggestion though, I really love your show and what you're doing. Keep it up, girls!
I could talk about boobs all day - so another boob episode could certainly happen. Might not be until next season, though.
DeleteAn undergarment episode? Hmm... Bangles and Kingsley, what do you think?
