Drink Recipes for Episode #15: Lady Gaga inspired cocktails and The Patti Smith

During EP #15, I recommended a Lady Gaga inspired cocktail and one of TVP's own concoctions, The Patti Smith.

I have a correction to make regarding one of this week's drink recommendations: Zoe Grimm sampled one too many cocktails for this week's EP of The Vodka Press. When I recommended a Lady Gaga inspired drink, I confused the names of two cocktails - I gave the recipe for Born This Way but referred to it as the Edge of Glory. Both drinks taste great, so I'm listing their respective recipes.

Born This Way (according to mirror.co.uk)

• 1.5 oz Belvedere Citrus vodka
• 1 oz orange juice
• top with soda

Edge of Glory (according to mirror.co.uk)

• 1.5 oz Belvedere vodka
• ½ oz elderflower liquor

While doing research for drinks this week, I discovered that there are many - how do I put this nicely? - fruity and/or blah drinks named after female musicians. So we created a hot & sweet drink in honor of the great Patti Smith.

The Patti Smith

• 1½ pt Stoli® Hot
• ½ pt Triple Sec
• squirt of lime juice
• rim glass w/ pepper
